Re: Struts

i asked this question a little while ago and the answer that i got was that the agx's are the best and they are also ajustable. I heard the gr2's are good as well but are not adjustable simply a replacement of the stock struts. Check the for sale forum i know that there are a few guys seeling them for around 370

If you were going to stay with stock springs the GR-2's would be great but lowering springs need more damping because of the higher spring rates. I just installed H&R's with AGX's about three weeks ago and I think the ride is great. Right after installing them I was surprized by how firm they were because all I could think of was everyone saying that they were the closest to stock. After driving the car for a while the ride seems to be mellowing some but I'm not sure if it's just me getting used to them or the struts and springs "breaking in". Either way I'm very satisfied with my choice and would make it again. The car handles so much better I can hardly contain myself. The ride is definitely firm (not bouncy) but is still comfortable enough that my sixty-something parents didn't complain about it when they rode in the car this weekend.

Good luck with whatever you decide...
