I was on tire rack lookin at rims. I know I definetly want to get 16x7.5 for overall performance and looks. I was looking at the Mille Miglia MM11-2. Does anyone know if these are heavy or not? Also I was lookin at the Kosei K1 Racing for the same price and I know these weigh 7lbs lighter than the stock wheels. Somethin like 38lbs with tires. What should I get?

All the Mille Miglia rims are heavy. I searched and searched for the lightest 16s for under $200 and you've got 2 choices. You can either get Enkei RP01 16X7 (16lbs) or Kosei K1s 16X7.5 (15.5lbs). SSR makes some light 16s in the 16-17lb ranges for about $220.

I received my K1s yesterday and I love them. 37.5lbs for a 16" rim with 215/55 tires is very light. I can't get over how large the K1s look. The thin design of the whole rim make the wheels look bigger. Also the rim is so wide that the wheels are completely flush with the fender. Silver 16" K1s are very hard to get for the Maxima. The Tirerack seems to be one of the only places that can get K1s on a regular basis and they only get 4-6 sets every 2 months. If you've got a blue or white Max, the K1s in white look awesome and the Tirerack has them in stock. Goodluck.

Sport Compact Car does annual articles on rims... look for the May 2000 issue. Best bet though is to check tirerack or others.

I think im going to get the K1s because of their performance and looks. I have heard that my GLE with the silver trim around the windows looks bad with white rims. What do you guys think?
