Dash Kits and Tan interior.

I just picked up a 3d aluminum dash kit for my car and had a question. What should I do about the woodgrain that remains uncovered particularly on the window controls? Anyone have any experience with this? I was thinking about painting the pieces that would show but I'm not sure what kind of paint to use let alone how to remove the pieces in question. Thanks for any help you can give.

Paint the dash underneath black. Black, it doesnt matter how it looks, since yu are putting a kit over it. Consider just painting your dash instead of the kit. See my homepage for pics of mine.

The dash pieces cover the woodgrain it's really only the window control pieces. How did you remove the pieces?

The switch module just pops up out of the door. Pry from the front.

I think, be careful, I dont remember which end you should pry from...
