can a maxima have ABS without having leather, because every maxima that i find with ABS has leather and i dont want the leather?

 

I don't know the general rule on that, but my Maxima has a cloth interior and no ABS. I could have had the ABS added as an option for $500, but I didn't. So, the answer to your question is YES, a Maxima can have ABS without the leather. You may have to order one equipped as such... Good luck.

 

Yes you can. My '97 SE has the cloth seat package and I also have ABS. ABS was one of the few "stand-alone" options you could order on the Maxima. Almost every other option required either (1) ordering the sunroof also, and (2) ordering the Security and Convenience package (which requires ordering a sunroof).

However, finding this combo is very rare. ABS was a $500 option so most of the cars that had it were already loaded to the gills with options, including leather.
