Friend Is An Idiot

OK I HAVE A QUESTION MY FRIEND AND I PUT IN A CAI OVER THE WEEKEND NOW MY FRIEND WAS PUTTING THE BATTERY BACK IN AND HE "ACCIDENTALLY" TOUCHED THE NEGATIVE TO THE POSITIVE SIDE. NOW I HAVE NO POWER WINDOWS HEATER OR CD PLAYER, THE 140 AMP BATTERY FUSE IS FRIED AND I THINK THERE IS A CIRCUIT BREAKER BEHIND THE FUSE BOX. BUT MY QUESTION IS HOW DO I GET THESE THINGS BACK TO WORKING AGAIN??

First you have to STOP TALKING IN CAPS.

No you can replace the fuses he blew. Check em all including the ones under the steering wheel area to make sure those are not dead also.

Well did the main block under the hood looked bad too? It will be in a little case, take a look at those. Was the car on when he hit the terminals on the battery?

How could the car have been on if he was putting the battery back in? Anyway, my brother did this in his old jeep and he fried just about every fuse. Almost everything worked after he replaced the fuses, except for the power seats and mirrors. Good luck

Let me guess...an old AS400 Inventory App?

I remember when I had to set up 2 AS400's to talk to each other over a 14.4k connection. They only respond to CAPS. And you'd type a letter, and 20 seconds later you would finally see it on the screen because the stupid AS400's would verify packets between the 14.4k connection before it put anything on your screen.

So your "T" would travel from Phoenix, to Chicago, then back and type on your screen "T".

That sucked azz.

The days of way-back.

Sorry, that was way OT....I guess I'm a PW.
