I'll be driving my '95 maxima to toronto this thanksgiving. Anything special about the gas over in Canada or is the same octane rating system used as the U.S.?

Acutally I live in Ottawa, and I know that for my 96 Maxima you need premium unleaded fuel.

I don't know what the prices are in the states but I know that up here in Canada it's expensive, especially for Premium

 

What is the gas prices on Ottawa right now? ALso my manual recommends premium for optimal performance but says 87 would be fine too.

 

The price in Ottawa (in canadidan dollars of course) is roughly 73.9/litre right now. Always fluctuates but around there.
I think it's calculated in gallons in the states right?
so 73.9 * 4 = 2.96/gallon

which is about 1.97/gallon in American currency

 

I live in Toronto and the gas prices here are around the same price as Ottawa. Right now it's around 70-73 cents/litre. I use 92 octane on my 99 Max because the owners manual recommends it. Have a good trip!
