Hey I was wondering about the intake on my 1995 maxima GXE. See I have an intake right behind my grille like any other car, however I also have a smaller one underneath my license plate. First question: This isn't aftermarket is it? Second Question: I recently had after market fog lights installed and they are blocking about a 1/4 of them. Will this affect performace at all? I had the local gas station install them so i'm guessing no, but figured i'd check with you guys. thanks.

weird, I dont know what that is since nothing suppose to be there. can you take a picture? maybe your looking at one of the resonators but I dont see how it would get in the way of anything

If it's stock the only place it will take in air is the main intake above the radiator. Below should be a resonator box, but no open pipes or anything. If there is, maybe the car had the OSCAI (poor man's cold air intake) before.

I have the small intake in my lower grill as well. I dont think anyone around here has determined what is is for. I also think it's only 0n 95 and 96 model cars, maybe just 95.

Yes mine has that small scoop under the licence plate behind the grill, it opens into engine bay but not connected anything. It has a square end, and can be used for custom-cai
