learn the search function, but anyways.
yes you can put a s/c in an automatic. Your engine will be fine. advantages, 80 hp
disadvantage: unless you get a valvebody upgrade for your tranny you will rip it to ****.
plus they are way too expensive $3600.

Re: supercharge

Sure you can. Disadvantages are, your tranny will hate you. Mine hates the 9lbs of boost it gets. It's only going to hate me more once I start spraying.

Your not running 12 PSI with a 3.33... Especially with a V1. Try again.

Your boost guage is on crack... you will not get 12 PSI on a V1 with a 3.33 pulley. Go to Vortech's site and use their calculators, it is NOT possible with your pulley. I don't know you, but I have heard enough about you. I would get a new boost guage if I were you. 12 PSI... bwahahahahaha

Try 3.00" (custom) or 2.87"

Here's the site if you want to look up the sizes: http://www.vortechsuperchargers.com

Kev you weren't supposed to tell him the answer, you were supposed to see how many more sig edits before he got it right.

Liars are funny... Dan...wanna race?

Maybe he'll say he has a 2.62" pulley with 100 shot NAWZ in his car.

Archive away baby!

I'm an auto and I'll be happy to race you... unless you turn me down because I'm not a V8.

I think the punk has left the building.. maybe he will go talk trash to somebody at the pike. Dan, I will gladly go to your turf to race you. I was at the pike last weekend, I will make the hike again this weekend (with my car this time) if you wanna race.

People get mods for different reasons. I'm 100% positive that Sprint can buy an SC anytime he wishes. He choose to spray because it's a much cheaper setup than an SC.

Why not race? You're SC'ed, he's NOS'ed... different setup, so it should be an interesting race.

The fact remains that a 3.25 is not mathematically possible to give you 12 PSI especially on a V1. Go back to the drawing board. Try again, and get back to us with another pulley size that you think may fit the bill to maintain your lie. I offered to race you, and I am not NOS'd, and I am not poor, and out of all the people that posted here, we are all SC'd or make more than enough money to buy a SC. Commenting on people's incomes is not a good idea, especially when you are talking out of your @$$. I am sure that Sprint, Kev, and Myself all make more than enough money to afford any mods we want. As proven by our mod lists. Leave income levels out of this, cause when we are your parents' age I am sure we will all be able to give our children money for superchargers too. ahahahahahhaahahaha.

and you over paid for Jose's *cough* DavidL7's *cough* old v1 supercharger.. which i could have bought.. but i didn't feel like hearing it scream at me every day

i could have had it for $500 less than what you paid for it.. and i could have had it less than my FULL NOS setup..

P-U-N-K You come on here talkin junk and you are bound to be caught out. You should know that by now. So, when do you take your monter out of the garage. I wanna see you hit 12 PSI with a 3.25 and prove Vortech wrong.

Need more numbers?

New addition to your sig:
You should be putting down about 260 whp and about 250 ft-lbs of torque (with the correct psi).

On 12 lbs of boost, you should be about 280 whp and about 260 ft-lbs of torque.

kepanojr ... so ... the obvious disadvantage to having a supercharger is that you can't talk out of your a$$ just because you have a supercharger.

You gotta know what you're doing and talking about.

First off... Let me say hello, it's been a while since we spoke.

Second off, I just want to know where he buys his drugs, he has to be getting some of that pure Rich Boy Connecticut stuff, cause he is higher than a kite thinking 12 PSI from a 3.25, in an auto no less... (not hating on the autos here).

Then he has to get personal. Screw that. He wants to talk about money, and who can afford what? I have already had to embarass one org member in an AIM chat room when he stooped to that level. I don't want to have to embarass this guy too.
