95 -> 97 quick conversion question (HELP)

Just a quick one already looked through the stickies but no one seems to have really addressed this.

I plan on putting the Trenz Grille in and I noticed after removing the 95 grille that it does not appear that the Trenz Grille can bolt onto the 95 grille. So other than getting a 97 Grille which would be a total waste of money what can I do?

Regards to the fog lights I just realized that the fog lights to do not swap in I need to basically take off the entire front bumper again???? Is that true or am I just missing something I am missing? It seems to mount directly onto the bracket behind the bumper.

If that is the case what are my options? I was planning on ordering some cheap AM fog lamps as the OEMs are so frigin expensive.

Either I go to the dealer and buy new fog lamps to replace my 95s or I just leave them out for now and waste another 3 hours putting the bumper back on.

Are you talking about the '97-'99 Trenz Grill? If so that will not fit unless you swap a '97-'99 bumper along with it. Can you be more specific?

If you did a '97-'99 bumper swap, not the '95-'96 fogs will not fit. You need a seperate set of OEM fogs and yes they are pricey .

No chance the Trenz is mine!

Yep I did the bumper swap. Looking at the bumper parts it does not even seem important to have a 95/97 bumper seeing as its the grille that makes the difference when attaching the Trenz Grille? How do I ghetto rig the Trenz grille so that it fits on my max? From the instructions I read regarding the Trenz grille it just bolts onto the 97 grille. Didn't realize that earlier.......

I was actually putting it on at about 8pm or so when I realized that I would have to remove the entire housing simply to put on the fog lights. Not sure if its worth my time re-doing the bumper when I buy the fog lights again, or wasting all the money on the fog lamps.

Is there no easy way to attach the fog lamps?

I did the front end swap and also have the 97-99 Trenz grille... It wasn't the easiest, but I did get it to fit. I replaced the bumper, headlights, fogs, and grille...

You can get and 97-99 OEM fog kit from www.courtesynissan.com for $200. It has both lamps, relay, and switch. I'm guessing you just need the lamps, but this is probably the best price you will find.

Hope this helps.
