o2 sensor?

it may be an oxygen sensor that needs replacement. if this is the case, and u have under 60000 miles, nissan will pay for it. i had just over 63000 miles on my 95 se when the second oxygen sensor burnt out. i called up nissan and demanded that they pay for it and they did.
good luck.

Hey Wayne

What year is the MAx? Had my sensors done (all 3) under the recall for free. My Max is a '96 and I did it with 90k on it. Theye werent bad, but they changed them anyway. Look into it. Try talking to another dealer about it.
