There are quite a few other components that you'll need besides just the in-dash control unit. You'll need an ambient temp sensor (in front grill), plus about another 3-5 sensors, etc. I don't know of any one that's done the conversion...maybe because of everything involved.

I didn't think 95-96 had them

Could be wrong. There have been a few posts on converting it, and It's way to expensive to do it.

Climate Control

I'm not certain, but I have a funny feeling that this is alot harder than it looks. Firstly, you'll have no probem fitting the unit physically into your car. But the potential gotcha is in the wiring. Your harness wiring may not match up to the unit. I notice in my 98 service manual, the auto climate control has more wires than the manual one. If you have to change ar adapt your wire harness, that's going to be complicated.

auto controls

come with the leather package I believe and some other stuff.
Do you have the leather, cold weather package (heated seats and side mirrors?)

The unit needs sensors too--so it is going to be a pain...

the replacement for the manual one is 157 alone

I know, i had to get it replaced because of an audio installation. they blew one of the IC's in it and i faught them to have them buy me a new one

157 quote from nissan

for the manual A;C control

figure the automatic one will cost more

Didn't someone else ask this? Anyways, I called Courtesy and they said that it would cost several thousands of dollars for all the parts, brackets, harnesses, etc. and they also said that they didn't know if it would even work.
