What is the rating for stock headlights (wattage)?
The superwhite bulbs do not melt your housing. I've been through so many pairs of them. I stopped using them because they go out in like a month or so. Get 50% brighter stock halogens. I think philips makes them, they are called "premium" or sumthing.

I am considering buying some Xenon bulbs and they are rated at 85/80 watts for the H4s and the H3s...can the stock headlights and foglight casings handle them?

I've had my Naxos Xenon Blue 100/80Watt bulbs for about 4 months now, they emit brilliant white color, and no melting so far..

The headlights are 9004, not H4's. You can get Philips Bluevisions if you want to stay with stock wattage, they are a little brighter than stock, but they are still yellow..

the melting will come man unless you have/get the upgraded harness it's only a matter of time stay with the stock 45/65 wattage unless you upgrade your harness to run the 80/100 wattage...

Philips BlueVisions are not still yellow.
And the key words are "so far"... wait a little longer and your harnesses will turn crispy.
