oxygen sensor for a '99?

I've done some recent reading about the knock sensors and replacing them if the car feels sluggish.
Well, I have a 99 SE w/ about 77,000 miles. The car feels sluggish and I was thinking that mnay be my problem too. Is this something that commonly affects the newer cars too or just the older models (95-96)?

I'm wondering if I should spend the $150 or so for a new one when I may not need it.

What is everyone else's thought on this?

Thanks.

Are you asking about replacing the knock sensor, or a oxygen sensor?

I'm asking about replacing the knock sensor.
Do you think the oxygen sensors could give a loss of power also?
