potentially getting a 4th gen very soon..some questions

i have the one picked out its at a dealer im buyin my 91 at,thing is i owe 800 on mine, dealer said when i finish payin that off(3 weeks..max) i can give him my 91 5spd for down payment...Heres the details,Superblack 98 GXE 5spd,only options are CD player and foglights, has 107k...but the car was driven almost 150 miles a day and always nissan serviced,so all highway miles,i drove the car and it had *****...smoked the tires into 2nd gear and little chirps out of 3rd gear...what i want to know is how good of an idea is it to get a S/C with so many miles,i only drive my car roughly 50 miles a week because i have a company vehicle,so its hardly even a daily driver..and one more thing is besides the spoiler, fogs, and chrome handles and moldings and Guages, whats the difference between a SE and a GXE lookswise, any help would be appreciated

Please read this whoile thread.

What kind of price are they asking for this car?

I dont think that is too many miles for S/C as long as you do a compression and leakdown test just to be sure.

if you will take care of the car i don't see a reason not to put a s/c on it ... the mileage doesn't matter that much ... but the overall condition of the engine matters ... i dunno if that'll help but there's my $.02

Exactly, some motors on here at 100K are just as healthy as others at 30K it all depends on how well it was cared for and if all maintenence was taken care of on it.
