$83 for a rear emergency brake cable???
I've read on this forum that it's pretty common for the rear suspension (front pivot) to pierce the rear emergency brake cables which leads to rust and eventual seizing. Well, it happened to mine on the left hand side. I just priced a new one (the part w/o labor) and it's $83 at a couple different local dealers. I even tried Courtesy Nissan and they're no cheaper. Anyone know of a cheaper place?

Try there. There prices are usually 30% off.

), the left rear is Bendix C2774 and the right is Bendix C2775 and they're $56.41 each.
I went to Midas and had them install my E-Brake cables when the Suspension pierced it... BUT.. when they put it back on I had them angle the cables so that it won't happen again.. I would post pic's but I haven't figured how to do this yet...
