I30 running light = Max running light?

After researching the legal issues relating to clearing my corners, and concluding that I didn't want to risk being pulled over and get a ticket, I was trying to figure out how to get an amber reflector to still be part of the front lighting configuration but still replace my corners with DC lenses.

I happened upon the idea that the lights used on an I30, the ones just outside of the headlights, which match the clears and have an amber lense built in, might do quite nicely. I checked pics on eBay and all over the place and can't tell whether they would work. They look close, but...

The idea is to DC the corners on the Max and replace the running lights with I30 units so I have the amber lense from the I30. End of problem.

Does anyone know *for sure* whether the lights immediately to the outside of the I30's headlights either (a) fit or (b) DON'T fit a Max.

Much appreciated.

Already searched, etc., etc.

YEP you're wrong, unless you live in overseas. Then you would be right. The Cefiro Headlights are one piece, the I30(US) are 2 piece. I'm not sure if they will fit, but I don't think they do. I believe that the Maxima corner lights are narrower and shallower in length. Whereas the I30's are wider and more upswept. You can take a look for yourself. I think all you need is a yellow marker right? Just put yellow lights in your side markers. (the relay blinkers on your fender if you have had them done.) if not http://max-performance.net/153048_12_full.jpg you can see them on my fenders.

you're going to need to do some custom work to get I30 lights to fit...and like they said, US Spec I30s have two piece headlights...i have some corner lights if you would like to purchase them from me for your project...
