Stillen Intake Question

I just recenlty bought a stillen intake used and i noticed that there was a hole in the top of it. It looks as if someobody drilled it themself but in further research i noticed that most normal stillen intakes DONT have it but a few do. reason being: some intakes have that hole for the O2 sensor on 95/96. If this is TRUE there should also be two other small holes next to the bigger one to accomodate for the bracket on the sensor as depicted on some??

it could have been used for a 97-99 since the ambient air sensor is connected by a rubber grommet which you take off the stock intake and pushed in the hole.

yea actually he had a 98 but that sensor you're referring to is only on the 95-96 i believe...there would be no need for it. i covered the hole with a sticker and some tape and wedged the sensor in through the manifold. no problems so far. Anyone else get an Stillen intake that came w/ that hole??

I have the Stillen intake, and it had 3 holes. It also came with the hardware to fasten it to the filter.

there isn't a hole in the top of mine, it's a 98, but i still have the air temp sensor (?) that i had sitting idle connected midair in my engine bay, until i got the cattman cai upper piece, which has a place for it underneath it to plug right in. i think my intake shoulda had a hole, but thankfully, cuz of the cai upper piece, i don't have to worry about it. for the record, the sensor plugged into the stock intake piping, which i removed because of annoyance purposes
