hey everyone,


ok, i bought some eclipse speakers today and tried putting them in with two buddies in the front doors. it was a ***** taking the panels off but sure enough we got it eventually. so after all that work i found out they were only 6.5 and apparently we need the oversized ones? so i'm gonna work that out tomorrow. anyways, what i noticed after we put everything back was the passenger door lock was being funny. you know how the front passenger door can lock and unlock all the doors in the car? well now it only locks and when i try to unlock, the others don't. all i hear is a click in every door but they don't open. perhaps a loose wire? does anyone have any advice?

second question: i was offered a jl 12" W3 from someone for $90. keep in mind it is in an enclosure made for a truck, not that that should really make too much a difference. does anyone know how big an amp i would need for that? i'm new to audio stuff so i don't know a lot, but...i don't want to pay huge money for an amp or system all together cuz i'm a poor college student. so what's anyones opinion on that? should i bother? also, i don't listen to rap, more alternative or rock so i dunno if that would be too basey(sp?) i'm open for ideas... thanx
