this is sooooo frustrating

ok, I changed the clutch, everything is put back together the way it should be, everything is connected (to the best of my knowledge) and because the starter was bad I replaced it w/ the new one.

the starter is cranking the flywheel but the car does not seem to start
we checked yesterday and it appears that there is no spark at the coils, the way we tested them was taking them out, putting a spark plug in there and connecting the metal part of the spark plug to the ground and started cranking, a spark should've appeared on the plug, but there was nothing

so people who have had this problem please respond

IF YOU DON'T KNOW HOW TO FIX THIS OR HAVE A *BAD* RESPONSE LIKE "that sucks man" DON'T RESPOND PLEASE

is the crank angle sensor connected? It's been known to happen before (forgetting to connect it after a clutch job)

 

Yep, check all those sensors as Phuong stated... After installing my S/C, I forgot to fully plug back in the Cam Position Sensor and it too me a long time to figure out why I didn't get any spark to my plugs...

 

thanks guys, the problem is fixed

it was the neutra/gear switch on the bottom of the tranny that I didn't plug all the way in, but I love the clutch though, definatly worth it, even though I'm still breaking it in.

I've got an ACT II and love it. I used to have to launch at 2k for smooth engagement outa first but, after a day at the track a couple of weeks ago, the clutch engages much smoother now and still has all the bite. 3rd is way to easy to chirp. Enjoy the new clutch and glad you got your problem resolved.
