Last fall I noticed that it was getting harder to upshift in the lower gears while the car was moving. At first I thought it was just to prevent the clutch from reaching higher rpm's but by now Im having trouble forcing it into first gear at 10 mph and 2nd gear at anything over 15-20 mph. Also, when I was driving in the snow the other day I shifted to first while I was going about 5mph and the front wheels slipped... almost as if I threw it into first and just dropped the clutch.. but I had the clutch in all the way the whole time. What really gets me is I just threw over a grand away on a tuneup and some new belts (60k mile service). Any ideas on whats wrong?
