what you do is unscrew the screw thats on the headlight and you have to pop a ball out of the socket and wiggle it loose.

This is from MaximaDriver.com site as Nismmo suggested:
"Start by removing removing the cornering light. It's easy, just be patient. Using the phillips, remove the screws holding the top portion of the light to the car. Now, grasp the light with your hands and wiggle the lense FORWARD, toward the front of the car. POP out, the edge of the light that is attached to the fender of the car. The fender had a little flap that holds in the plastic part of the lense. It is vital for you to pop the side out first. Once that is done, from the top of the car, looking down, you'll see this small ball-n-socket joint where the lense is attached to the car. Spray some WD40 onto that socket, and wait a few moments for the oil to seep in. Now, using the flat headed screw driver, wiggle the head of the screwdriver inbetween the metal hook that's attached to the lense, and the socket joint that's attached to the car. (just wiggle it a bit until you're in. becareful not to chunk off any plastic of the lense or the car!!) Now Twist 1/4 to 1/2 a turn and the lense should pop out."
You might try some ArmorAll or Vinylex on that socket if the WD40 doesn't work. Vinyl protectorants make the plastic slippery.
