Wiring an air horn

Can someone give me advice for wiring an air horn into the system along with the stock horn? I tried once and just blew a fuse. Much easier on the Harley! Anyway, I like to really give someone a wake up call when necessary ...

What kind of airhorn is it?

I had the Hella triple airhorns in my car.

Despite what the directions say, if your airhorns came with a relay, use it.

airhorns

I have a couple of sets lying around. Probably use the Fiamm double airhorns. They didn't come with a relay. Giving your directions a lookover now ... do you have to disconnect the stock horns to use the quick Maxima relay-less hookup?

I disconnected my stock horns. But then again, I used the relay.

You mean you used the stock relay by disconnecting your horns? I got confused by the relay numbers in the first part and assumed those were parts in the kit.
