A/C Question ??
I know its a little premiture since its really not that hot out yet but here is goes..
Last summer was my first summer with the Maxima and the A/C sucked. It wouldnt pump out any suficiant cold air at all...So I brought it to get charged up and still wasnt as good as it should be...I have an opportunity to get a used compressor with 47k off of a 99' for $75 >>> Do you think that the compressor is my problem of no cold air ??? Should I just buy it and throw it on and hope for the best ?? thanks

First isolate the leak before you spend your money! It could be a leak from the hard lines... or the compressor discharging refrigerant due to excessive pressure (can be caused by a dented A/C condenser)... or the clutch on the compressor not engaging, etc.
Have the dealer do a thorough inspection.
Do a visual check on the A/C condensor to see if there are any dents.
If you took it to a Nissan dealer for the first recharge they should have put in UV dye. Ask them if they did. If not, remind them to put dye into the system this time around. Have them shine the blacklight on everything A/C related. Also make sure to check the low pressure line that goes into the firewall. It leads to the evaporator core. If the technician pulls the grommet out slightly he can put the blacklight on that line to see if there is visible dye.
Have the technician perform a pressure test with you present and have him compare the values in the FSM.

New OE Condensor $240
New OE Evaporator w/ Expansion Valve $250
Is it worth while to take the car elsewhere for 2nd opinion?
