Climate Control Question

Just wondering if I gut a climate control from 97-99, is it going to work on my manual if I hook it up right. Whoever know about, please let me know, I have 98' SE.

No. This is discussed in the FAQ thread above.

And if you do not read the FAQs, this will help you. You can do it, but it will be alot of work. Putting it in there is easy. But you have to route three sensors in the a/c to the main vents inside the cabin which is way too much work, even for the experienced DIYer. Sorry.

Just to add one tidbit, the 97 climate control is different. The 98 and 99s are the same.

To add to dwapenyi, the 98-99 are the same except for the fact that the 99 has an ambient button unlike the 98.

Nope. 98s have AMB. Ask me how I know even the 95s used to have AMB. They skipped it on the 97s for some reason.

Why would they skip one for 97'. Has anybody done this before and if so, how much was it.
