So I'm going back to work after lunch, and I end up at a light with an Integra next to me. Light turns green, and this guy just tears off. I see he's got a cool looking muffler, and then I notice the Type R badge. I end up chasing this guy for like 5 miles. He's driving like a total *** cutting people off, so it takes me forever to catch up to this guy. Finally, We meet again at a light. The light goes green, woosh, I take off with perfection, and get almost a whole car length off the line. As we aproach 60, he starts catching me, by 80, he's almost neck and neck, by 100 I begin to pull ahead again, and by then, we both start slowing down. I won! We both had to slow down because of traffic up ahead. Needless to say, I was very late going back to work, but exhilarated. The only reason I believe I won, was that perfect launch, my Yok's, and 20 extra hp from my bolt ons. Love my Max!

My Yok's are the AVS's on the stock 15's. I love the look of larger wheels, but they slow you down. I read an article on plus wheel sizes on a civic, and the larger they came up from stock, the slower 0-60, and 1/4 mile times. I may go with a different style 15 soon, though.

Racing tips for launching:
1.On flat roads, launch no more than 2000rpm's.
2.On an incline, launch no more than 1800rpms's.
3.Down hill, launch no more than 2000rpm's.

You don't want to just drop your clutch, you want to control it as you let it out. But do it as fast as you can. If you just drop the clutch, you'll get to much wheel spin. A little cherp is all you want to hear.

The perfect launch is AWESOME!!!!!!!

With a good launch like that you can smoke oh so many cars.
Stangs, tricked out civic toy boxes, even some 300's..etc..
Leaving your contestants slack jawed is what its all about.
Good Job Man!
