Removing antenna Mast

I have bought a new mast for my power antenna and I'm having a hard time getting the old one out of the unit. The old antenna was bent @ the bottom when fully extended. I also have cleaned the old grease out. I need to know good replacement grease.

Thanks

DaveMax, I would recommend a Molybdenum based grease. >

This type of grease is thick and since molybdenum is embedded in the grease it has good friction reducing properties. Plus, it is extremely thick and has less of a tendency to attract dust and moisture.

How did you get that top nut/ring off? I don't have one of those 2-prong wrenches.

Mine got bent when I started closing my garage door WHILE I was backing out

I used a set of pliers carefully not to scrath anything and it came off.
