I have progressive springs. I didnt measure the drop but its not 2". I have never ridden in another max with springs so i cant compare ride, however mine sux on harsh bumps and stuff. But I like it enugh to not have the 4x4 look.

i have progress springs, too. i think mine actually did drop my max about 2". i have a 95, so i started with like 6" of fender well gap!! lol anyway, i have tokico struts with my springs, and i have a great ride! not harsh or overly springy, just a little stiffer and better in the corners. i'd do it if i were you!! ...then again, i think coilovers are only about $450... the decision's yours, man!!

here's a pic of my max if that helps any...

Do you have a 5th gen or 4th gen? If its a 4th gen I hate to tell ya but there are some better prices out there if you search..Ive seen the KYB's for 350 or so shipped and the Progress springs for 130-150 tops. If this is for the 5th gen then its about the right price range...but this is the 4th gen forum?
