About how much should you pay for a tuneup?

Basically, I'm getting new spark plugs, fuel filter, pcv valve, cleaning throttle body, and changing the accessory belts and brake pads all around for $580. Is this a good deal?

How many miles on your car?

I would guess that if I had the time I could do all that myself on a saturday for maybe $150-200 in parts... Dunno for sure what a dealer/shop would charge, but that sounds a bit steep.

 

Get a Haynes Manual and o it all your self.

None of it is really that hard.
