ProCarParts.com Cone Air Filter

90-99 NISSAN MAXIMA HI-PERFORMANCE ADAPTER/FILTER SET from Pro Car Parts.COM

Has anyone purchased this set, and how good is it. I was looking to either get a cone intake like the above and then throw on a K and N filter. Or do you think I should just go out and get a CAI. Is there only Place Racing, or are there other brands. Thanks in advance.

Here is mine...I like it a lot and had JWT before...can't beat it for the style and quality is much nicer than the APC stuff I see people buy at our store...some have said you have to redrill holes in the adapter bu tmine fit right on but you have to use nuts on the opposite side of the stock bolts w/washers to hold it on tight.

It gets the job done. I was one of those who had to drill new holes, to get it to fit. But it is a good deal.

i bought the set and am planning on putting it in soon. i was skeptical at first but i asked around and other people have said it works fine. so i will hopefully be lucky and have it fit directly. i am sick of having problems putting stuff in!! anyways...good luck and i hope it works out for you. if i have any problems i'll let you know...so be sure and let me know what you think. later dude

How much is it?

considering it's the same thing as the JWT ( i am guessing ).. i dont want to pay 120$ for a JWT when I can get a generic cone and an adaptor for much cheaper...

so how much is the set? i'm too lazy to go check procarparts.com

i've seen this too

I was wondering if you had to oil/clean it like a K&N or if it's just a dry cone filter?

You have to clean it, just use the K&N kit to do so.
