I just put in a new knock sensor, so I thought everything should be back to normal. However, I pulled the MIL code again and the 0304 code is still there. WTH? So what does this mean? The harness? Any ideas?

Did you reset it after you replaced it?

hehe...I just found out that was my mistake. I just went outside and recheck and got a 0505 code, so everything is fine now.

Btw, I got to drive my car a bit more today than the other day. Hm...you know what? The car does feel stronger now. I'm happy.

Note: At least on the 3-gen, the error code will stay for approx 50 turns of the ignition key. If the ecu doesn't see another error code for those XXX turns of the key, it erases it from the ecu error memory. Or you can start over by resetting the ecu.

Hey, thanks for the support. I remember you answering some of my questions on the other knock sensor thread. It really help me that you and other members gave me your input. That's what I like about this forum, good support from fellow members.
