I need to disassemble the switch that we use to rotate to turn on and off the parking/head lights on the left side of steering wheel. I need to get inside to the parking lights wire and replace it. Btw if anyone knows the color of the parking light wire...it would save me a lot of time.........thanks guys.

I have the factory service manual for the 96. The switch has a harness on the steering column, and it looks like the clearance light pin is #12, and it's a R/G (red/green i would guess) wire. It doesn't say anything about actually dismanteling the switch. Hope that helps.

I believe there is a website called "12volt.com" where you can punch in the year and make of your vehicle and it will list your wiring colors of what your looking for.
