Painting Interior?

Hey, i was wondering if anyone has ever painted the interior of their car? ie: the trimmings, speaker coves, etc. My friend did it with his jetta and it looked pretty cool. Now I have an aluminum console, and I was thinking i could paint all the other trimmings the brushed aluminum color, then clear coat it. Can I have your imput on this. thanks.

I painted my interior. I can't stant that stick on ****. Make sure you use a paint meant for plastic. I used plastic paint by SEM. Prep the plastic with "sand free". It opens the pores in the plastic so the paint adhears better. I clear coated a test peise but didn't like the glossy look so I left mune uncoated. Here's a pic.
