HID kits

i am interested on purchaseing a hid kit, but i dont know which of the brands is relieable or where to find them. and also wanting to if it is worth it and if somebody has pics of there car with hid's

The only experience I have are with the Philips HID kits.

I have a sylvania HID kit,

it looks/works great check out the pic below,The Phillips GotRice? sells seem to be real nice too + he sells them for a good price.

beam pattern

I heard that it really messes up the beam pattern on the maximas. I am about to buy a set, but for 600 bucks i want it to be alot better. It is also illegal to have hid lights on a car that did not have it from the factory, but oh well.

so what do you think i should do, not buy hid kit, or buy a specific one?
