OK I have this buzzing sound coming from my car it's a 98 max SE, automatic. I thought it was coming from inside the car, but I popped the hood and it is coming from this small box on the right side of the engine bay. The box is attached to the side and it sits in front of the winshield washer dispencer. Any ideas what this is? And why it's buzzing like that. Thanks in advance.

Are you talking about the fuse/relay box?

 

No it's in front of that towards the front of the car.

Oh! I have to look underneath my hood to know exactly what you are talking about.

 

Sorry, my car doesn't seem to have that box that you're talking about. It must be an "SE" thing.

 

I wonder what the hell that thing is. I'll have to check my hanes manual when I get off work.
