Has anyone done this mod?...Yes I searched Focker

I would like to make all of my window switch lights all BLUE. Problem, the single switches in the 97 are not the traditional two pronged LED. They are actually a very tiny square four pronged LED. I mean tiny. About an eigth of an inch wide.

Anybody done this on a 97? Saw write ups for the 96 and 95 but apparently the 97 is different.

Thanks for the help in advance!

Those are called surface mount LEDs. They can be switched like the older style, but it's much harder to do.

Same procedure, just smaller.

I took them apart and they are tiny. The drivers side LED's are regular. I will have to figure something out. Do you have any idea what color the LED is without the little plastic cover?

I guess i will have to experiment a little.

Thanks Man!
