Road kill in 5th gear!

Hehe! I raced an Acura TL-S tonight. Those things are pretty quick! He flew past me at 100 mph on the way home today. He got slowed down by traffic and I caught up. I nailed it and flew past him so fast, he didn't know what hit him!

Well we go back and forth for about 20 miles. I got in front of him doing about 90mph (after passing him at 130mph). I was lazy and didn't want to downshift. I know he was trying to catch me but all I could see was him falling further and further back! I love my turbo! I don't do many high speed races, but it was open road and not many cars about. It was great!

I would have liked to have raced from standstill, I am sure I could have kicked his butt too! I am sure those Acuras are automatic and that probably doesn't help them, they also weigh more. Well I can't say it was a complete kill cos he was more daring driving at 120 mph most of the time. There's not much fun racing at that speed cos there's not much room to accelerate to. I ran out of speedometer at one point!

Well I am satisfied

Nice Kill man, Too bad you weren't able to race the tl-s from a stop, you would have wasted him. Anyway, how does the car feel after a little tuning and the new exhaust?, do you have all of your gauges set up now too?

Didn't quite bury the needle. I was to chicken **** to do that. I am happy! Now I need to go up against Camaros and the Mustang SVTs ... probably lose , but I'll have fun! I don't usually race, but it's quite addicitve!
