GUAGEs

I can't provide much detail, but from what I've read, the inexpensive A/F meters use one of the stock O2 sensors. These are so slow and inaccurate they are almost not worth the trouble of installing. Not unless you are only interested in a light show.
Good quality A/F meters come supplied with high-end O2 sensors of their own. Their O2 sensors are broadband sensors that are much quicker and much more accurate than stock O2 sensors. These are what you need if you want an accurate picture of your A/F ratio. However, these babies cost about $400+.
Why do you want to install an A/F meter? Are you boosting/spraying? There seems to be two schools of thought on the issue of A/F meter vs. Exhaust Gas Temperature gauge. The folks on this forum seem to prefer the EGT gauge. I happen to have an EGT gauge myself. Good luck.
