Sweet looking rims, but don't take my word for it.
You should really go with what you like and not what the majority think.

...now for a dissenting opinion.

Maybe it just the picture, but it looks like part of the spokes on those wheels will be 3/4 of an inch or so outside the tire wall - which would cause a substantial amount of aerodynamic drag at highway speeds. The wind will "see" four squares extending from the side of your car about 3/4 of an inch and about 6 inches high and 6 inches wide.

As long as you're not too concerned with top speed or fuel economy, go for it.

Then again, it may just be a optical "delusion".

go with the 18's. i live in ny (li) but i travely every day to some nasty roaded parts of queens and usually to manhatten quite often. these roads are not pretty but i have not had any problem with my 18's yet. i'm still on the original tires and the rims have not bent at all. i put them on in september and have run most of the winter with them... i would never go back to 17's.

True, but it does the majority of the time. Show me a lightweight chrome wheel.

I like 'em. I was going to get some til i found out they only come in chrome or anthracite-at least according to discount tire direct-i just want silver or a machined silver. i'm going with the konig attains. You may want to try there-they have good prices.

Go to http://www.discounttiredirect.com The forza's are $210 a piece there. Good luck.

oooo they got free shipping at discounttire... i hope though that it doesn't mean i am going to receive the wheels in like 5 - 6 weeks then i rather pay for shipping....has anyone got anything from discounttire with the free shipping and received it relatively fast?

yea i agree that silver wheels are better but i have a black max and i think that anthracite will look pretty hot on a darker max.

We could also shave off mirrors and use that DuPont paint that creates less wind resistance. Plus, that license plate just pushes the air....

...well, I don't want to get into a discussion of the aerodynamics of laterally rotating masses perpindicular to the direction of movement, but...

A) the mirrors are required by law in most places, are rounded at the surface that meets the airflow - and they came with the car - they aren't an add-on.

B) the licence plate - also required by law in most places - is a very small portion of a lager surface and also is not an add-on.

What I was getting at in my original post was that these wheels may have a negative effect on gas mileage and top speed in relation to the stock wheels.

I ordered my rims from them and it took quite a while. But it was also after the 11th of september so it was expected.
