A muffler Q!!!! Help
I currently have a universal muffler that I picked up from e-bay. Its ok, not too load and nice deep tone, I don’t see the pick up thou; in fact I lost it most of it. But now I have a chance to buy a USED GREDDY TRUST EVOLUTION EXHAUST, should I stick with what I got or spend some $$$ and get the USED Greddy. Would it give me more HP? And does anyone know how it sounds? Thanks

I would stick with the stock muffler. Might not look the best but works the best!

If the Greddy exhaust is a Maxima-specific catback, then you will gain the backpressure you lost and get your pickup back in addition to little gain. But beware the Greddy is loud.
Actually many people do get them for the look. Only boosted cars really need custom cat-backs, and that too is only if it's larger. It does add a nice tone though, and a little power.

600 would be for a cat back not just a muffler. A cat back would be better then a muffler but you still lose a little pick up. Not as much. As you said some people do it for looks some for sound,

when they say lose power - they are probably referring to low end power.........bigger the b pipe, the more low end u lose, but at the same time u will gain some high end
