Who does 5-speed conversion in FL.

I have a automagic, i wan's to converte it to 5-speed but i can't find anyone that can do it. I live by Tampa FL.

Is your car stock? If it is, or if it's close to stock, JUST trade it in! It would be much easier...the only time I suggest converting is if you are heavily modded and love every feature on your car.

Is it true there are alot of extra wires hanging around after a conversion?how bad is it?

If you use a manual transmission harness and ecu, you will not have any "extra wires" hanging around. However, if you don't, then yes, you will have "some" extra wires. But whenever you are taking out the auto shifter, there is a wire that is cut and never used again, so that also "hangs" around. Hope I answered your question correctly.

No no no, it isn't visible at all. It is under the shifter cover.

I dont see why there arent a ton of people doing these conversions for money. There is a serious market for them.
