Answer is yes and they had to be imported from Australia but they proved to be worthless in the power department.

It's been tried, along with porting the exhaust manifolds. I think the dyno showed a 1/2-HP gain, or less. Not worth the trouble on a naturally aspirated car, for sure. But I haven't heard anything about gains under boost... I think "somebody" is keeping quiet on that one.

Keep in mind emax had a leak and said the design was very sh!tty.

Headers could prove to be as benificial as a Y-pipe.

I thought based on the design of our headers though there was not much room for improvement and that is why most people expected low gains as well.

Not quite. He had a leak beacuse they werent installed properly. He never re-dynoed after the leak was fixed, so now we dont know how well thse headers really perform on our cars.

Not quite what He said I had a exhaust leak and that the design was no good, that's the truth. Peter in NZ said him self that they did not put much effort into making the headers.

Did you care to read the post above you ? Do you even know what the hell your saying?

Ethan, aka Emax95, JUST verified what I said about his headers being poorly designed with an air leak. A quality and effecient flowing design of headers with a tight seal could be very worth the $.

i asked the very same question to hogan a few weeks ago.......he is pretty experienced with tuning maximas - he said it himself that the stock header is pretty much the best it can get

The stock header may be pretty good, to really figure it out it would have to be flow tested and compared to a high quality aftermarket header. At this point I don't think either test has been done so theres really no grounds for comparison.
