hoods

hoods

hey guys i want to put on a different hood with the hoodpins does anyone have any advice on what or how to go about this????

Well there aren't any hoods of a different style/shape, but there is a carbon fiber hood available and I guess there is a clear hood that has just become availble as well.

you can get the carbon fiber hood and you have to have hood pins in that so just in case it dosent fly off on the highway.
Other then that, if you really want some hood pins for that bad *** look, get the stick on ones

Personally I hate hood pins, and I'm doing everything in my power to avoid using them with my CF hood. The reason people put hood pins on the CF hoods is not because they are in danger of flying off, but because they are so light, the corners, which are not connected to the car and are very very light, start to flutter as speeds rise. They aren't in danger of coming off, but it rattles annoyingly. 5th gen hoods start to do this at really high speed too, because they are relatively light.
