SuperCharger? Dependability and 1/4 Times?
Have a '97 SE 5Spd. I have been using as my company car, it has been taken care of but has 93,000 miles, should I have any reservations (Dependability Wise) on installing a Supercharger? I have a BMW M3 I need to sell (unfortunately) and am wondering what king of 1/4 mile times I will get out of a Supercharged Maxima? What other Mods would everyone suggest? I was thinking Brakes, Shock Tower Brace, Rims and Tires and anything else that is suggested I will have about $5000 or so to play with. Thanks, Paul

Most get high 13's until they start getting a little better at the 1/4 with it. But that depends on waht other mods you plan on having it with. Do you haev any now or plan on any. That will give you a better estimate of HP ratings.

supercharger cost your looking about $3300 to $3500, I went to the track for the 3rd time, I didnt decrease tire pressure or nothing left my 18's as you see below and got a 14.6, of course I am a 16 second car with my 18's. A supercharger and not so heavy wheels will put you in the 13's as posted above. I will remove my wheels and will return back to the track April 27, and will repost my time again.
