I own a 98 maxima SE, and I was wondering how to replace the fog lights. I read the manual and got up to the part of unscrewing the black cover. I then see a wire which looks like it connects to the bulb. I figure i would have to disconnect that wire. Now, i was wondering how to pull the light out of the casing cause there are these metal brackets or something like that. Answers are well appreciated. Thanks

Are you talking about to replace the bulb or to replace the whole set?

Why would a guy dig up a 6 year old thread and then give a stupid answer?

Well instead of replacing it with all the wiring and confusion.
I suggest buying the Raybrig R1300 Fog Light System.
Reason being? It's wireless remote controlled so say good-bye to wiring and harness'

Here is a link
It's a little on the price-y side but it's well worth it.
I have a pair myself and they're superb.
