Airbags. Especially the driver's Airbag(s). While your at it, remove the brake pads too. Goto the track, test your car 1/4, be happy for 3 seconds, and then... BOOM!

You could get rid of all your brake components, they are really heavy. Then you can get rid of your floor too, its heavy plus you will need to stop your car with your feet.

Seriously though, there are tons of things you can start removing, its just a question of how stripped out you want your car to be.

10 StepMax Diet

In no particular Order.

1. Airbags( passenger side first then driverside if you feel comfortable doing that)
2. Air Conditioning ( makes about 10 to 12 hp and takes about 75 pounds off our car.
3. Factory Seats( Replace them with a light racing seat such as Tenzo, or Corbeu)
4. Pull Up carpet and use heat gun to pull up tar noise mat(this one is time consuming, im still working on this one)
5. all that crap in your trunk ( in mine theres just a battery and thats it no tire no jack no side carpeting or anything)
6. Back seat ( this is really only good if your trying to drag other wise not really worth but 10 pounds
7. Suspension go to some kind of coilover setup its lighter than the Mcpherson Set up
8. Rims( go biger 17's are best and make sure you get a good tire, cheep tires are heavy like Kuhmo, i use BF Goodrich)
9. Pull all the bull crap out of your engine bay such as all those stock intake pieces( move batt tothe back helps distribute weight better too, also get a red top optima)
10. Drop the 4 12 inch subs and and all that other stero crap just go witha good head unit and 4 good component spekers

Bruce-

You ever gonna post a timeslip for that 14.0 run? Your homepage also says you've got a MSD ignition, JE pistons, and a turbo? There's no such thing as a MSD ignition for the 4th+ gen nor does JE currently make pistons nor do a see a turbo in your pics.

Soon about the time slip just have to get home and find it among my car documents and crap. Thanks for bringing it to my attention

1.Turbo in house, still in the works, still working out the manifold design.
2.JE Pistons waiting to be made(9:1 Compression, custom for 795$ for the set)
3.And MSD has a Direct Coil Ignition System that bolts or plugs right in. The DIS-4 http://www.msdignition.com/
