G- Tech times

This may prove the G-tech is innacurate. My best times after several tries and removing everything from my trunk are

0-60 5.96
1/4 14.75 @ 96.3

Was that ever even questioned?

Just look at how a G-tech works.

Actually that 1/4 mile time could be accurate but the sub-6 second 0-60MpH...

My G-tech times were

0-60: 6.7
1/4: 15.29@92

On that very run, the track timing lights said 15.35 ... so...

BTW I have a 95 GXE Auto with a K&N panel filter...

It dont matter if Gtech is off slightly.

I never expect to get super accurate 0-60 or 1/4 from Gtech.
Gtech is good because it is consistent and it can show a trend.

If you had Gtech 1/4 mile of 15.8 and Gtech shows you 1/4 of 15.5 after an intake, although we all know that these times might not be super accurate, we do know that the intake did show an improvement.

So is Gtech worth $150 or so? I think so.. but I dont have one yet.

Funny this is on today...I inquired about a group deal today from a dealer in SC. He's up for it, but I'm going to post around to see what kind of interest people would have. I just ordered mine today from him and am going to wait to see what kind of service he gives before I put my name attached to anything. BTW, he's talking about a group deal @ something like $103-110 shipped. If anyone here is interested let me know...I'm just taking a head count right now.

The "possible" group deal would be for brand new "old" style g techs. I talked to the dealer about the new ones and even he can't get them at a reasonable price ($200+ right now even to him). I don't even know if I'm going to do a group deal for sure yet, I'm asking around to see what kind of interest people have in them before I commit. Plus, I just ordered myself one today from that same dealer and I want to see what kind of service and make sure the product is cool before I go and offer to anyone on the org. Know what I mean?....
