I connected the green wire from the front directional to the black wire of the side marker like the link above said and poof out went the fuse. Does anyone know for sure that the green wire is hot and the black is not like that link above claims?
Thanks in advance.

Sorry I meant to say that I tapped a wire into the directional green and ran it to the side marker black. I then turned the directional on and with the headlights off the fuse blew.

Just make sure as aznsap said, that you CUT the black wire and connect the BULB side of it to the GREEN wire which you do not cut.

Uhh, it goes to show that if enough people tell me to CUT the wire I will understand that this means Cut The Wire and it dosen't mean tap into it.
Thank you

Uhhh... well it's so simple to understand that we couldn't understand how you kept getting it wrong. So how about instead of being rude to people who are trying to help you you just say "thanks, I got it now"?

I did not intend to be rude to people. The intention of what I wrote was self depreciating humor. I'm sorry if you took what I wrote the wrong way. I did say thank you and that was meant for aznsap and you.
