That was awesome...I never raced one but I figured it would be a close race. Good race...It was basically dead even...you were pulling just slightly. Those races are the best, where it is like dead even and someone slowly pulls away. Thanks for sharing

Hey Harold did you ever get your 5spd dyno'ed with your Auto ECU?

I have one more thing to sell then I can start bugging chaz again about the conversion.

 

1hp more w/ auto ecu. I am currently running 5spd ecu, but have both mounted in the car.

 

Wow, why does the auto make more power?? Although it's only 1HP it's still more..

Why did you switch back to the 5spd ECU if it isn't as powerful? Becuase of that little check engine light?

 

what speed did you start/end at? I love highway races like that

 

most of the videos were like 60mph to the top of 4th...

the one video where he shifts twice, we ran from 35-105ish I think,

and as far as why am I using the 5spd ecu? b/c of the CEL...

 

Nice races. I have a question about your auto ECU in your 5 speed. JWT told me that an auto ECU in a 5 speed would possibly cause a slight RPM jump when shifting from neutral into gear because auto tranny maximas do that. Can you confirm or deny this?

 

no, it does not do that. the only problem besides the check engine light, about having an auto ecu in a 5spd, is.. around 700-1100rpm the car sometimes cannot decide if it should be idling like it is in park (700ish) or if it should be at like 1100 because the car would be rolling in 1st gear(automatic).. i dont know if that made any sense, but the thing is if you are walking it at around 1000rpm in 1st gear in the 5spd, it will go up and down just a hair, not like jerking you, but just a little..
