warranty

I have a 99 se maxima and i am under 36,000 miles .Apparently i have a bad ignition coil in my car and was wondering if nissan would cover the repair under warranty since the car is older than 3 years.

Ignition coil should be covered under powertrain warranty I believe, as it is an engine component (and not considered an "accessory" as the alternator would be).

The powertrain warranty is 5yr/60k. Even if it isn't covered, your car is new enough that a call to Nissan Consumer Affairs should at least get you partial compensation through arbitration from the factory rep.
