i heard ADR is kinda a crappy brand, any truth behind that rumor? theses are the euro blocks, the ones i am considering.
so what about the quality, what about those particular wheels, theyd be 17x7s and be polished aluminum. just like the picture

Why, do you have a friend that can get you deals on only ADRs?

I've never heard anything bad about them. I think that a lot of their rims are heavy, but that doesn't mean that they are bad rims. I almost bought some, I think they have a lot of good designs that aren't mainstreem like the volk knock offs and so forth. In anycase with ordering rims on line when you get them, carefully inspect them for flatspots on the edges of the rims and any kinds of unusual bends or small hair line fractures in the spokes.
There's certainly worse... for whoever said they have rims that aren't knockoffs, that may be true, but this style is a Lowenhart copy. I would save a bit more and get wheels that I wouldn't have to even ask about the quality.
ADR is equivalent in quality to any other "copy" line like ACE, Konig, etc. I had the Battle Z II's in 17 inch and they were fine. Had friends who owned the Evolution style and that mesh style mentioned above. You usually cannot beat the price for ADR's.
I like their styles but I have to say no to their quality due to some pics I've seen on the Honda-acura.net site. i've seen pics that look like someone just sawed them in half. They just broke into more than 2 pieces for some chick on there. Now I'm not saying she didn't run over something, but no rim should ever break outright. Also, she wasn't the only one on there posting pics similar to this.
Additionally, there was talk on there that they were not DOT certified (are any rims DOT certified?).
Also, I wouldn't put them in the same category as Konig - I see them as a brand that offers a quality rim for less money than some of the other brands that just started up yesterday - at least Konig has been around for a while.
My 2cents

i can get them for 300 w/o tires
and 600 with some 55 series tires. both have only 2500 miles. what do you think now. also, i cant addord lowenharts (sp?) hence the knock offs. anyway, i am probably gonna pass on them at least this week, if hes got them next week (pay day) then ill offer him 500 with tires. so if anybody else wants em, lemme know, id be happy to hook you up with this guy. hes also got a set of 2002 altima 6 spoke wheels.
these rims weigh 20.5 pounds, is that heavy?

Just saying you heard something bad about them doesn't help out.
